Dundee-born solicitor Jonathan Matheson-Dear has been appointed a partner in the Dunfermline Law firm of W. & A. S. Bruce.
Mr Matheson-Dear (35) was brought up in the Blackness Road area of the city and attended Dundee High School before moving to Harris Academy.
He gained an honours degree in law from Dundee University and completed his legal training with Blackadder, Reid & Johnston, of Dundee.
Having qualified, he moved to Fife 10 years ago and joined Smith & Grant in Leven and subsequently Rollo, Davidson & McFarlane in Glenrothes.
Two years ago Mr Matheson-Dear joined W. & A. S. Bruce, of Chalmers Street.
