On 13 September, 2008, a group of over 30 Former Pupils marked 50 years since they began their education at Harris Academy by holding a reunion. The event centered around a buffet supper held In the West Park Conference Centre, where everyone spent a happy evening sharing reminiscences and catching up on recent news. A pleasant surprise for everyone was provided when two of the guests announced wedding plans which they had kept secret to that point - in the weeks since the event, the wedding has taken place.
